Phone numbers and contacts

Adding your phone number is optional. It is kept private, never shown to other users, and only used so friends who have your number in their contacts can find you.

If you choose to find friends from your contacts in our iOS or Android app, the app reads only the phone numbers in your contacts and sends them to us once to check which belong to people already on Friends Weekly. Your contacts are not stored on our servers or written to our logs, and are discarded as soon as the check is done.
